EXCUSE me while I don't excited over the generous offer from Wychavon District Council of a free hour's parking.
Small print reveals it is the third hour you get free.
Does anyone go anywhere and park for more than two hours in Wychavon? No!
They really thought that one through, as they are not actually giving anything away.
If they want to encourage more people to go to town or village centres they should make the first hour free and reduce rent/rates for the shops to encourage more shops to open and to make the shopping experience better.
It's almost as stupid as renaming Evesham Country Park 'The Valley'!
