IN your article Slow Take-up for Faster Broadband (May 28) a councillor said people had written to him labelling the roll-out as too slow.

That echoes my own experience. In the years since I originally expressed an interest in superfast broadband, when I used both a laptop and a desktop computer, I have moved onto an iPad and ditched both of the other devices.

With the iPad I have an instant WiFi connection to the internet and virtually no crashes – a frequent occurrence previously.

I can do all the tasks that I want to on my tablet and therefore no longer anticipate taking advantage of faster broadband when it eventually becomes available in my village.
