May I offer my thanks to the following people who assisted me after my accident on the road from Badsey to Wickhamford.

I was just passing Wickhamford Church when for no apparent reason I found myself spreadeagled across the road having been thrown from my bicycle.

My first recollection was to find a gentleman bent over me as I lay in the road asking me if I was OK. He helped me to my feet and along with a lady who had also stop her car they attended to my injuries, which thankfully were only superficial.

The gentleman then put my bike into an adjacent garden and left a note with my phone number on for the resident of the house and promptly took me to the A&E at Evesham.

When I arrived at the hospital he stayed with me for a few minutes then as I insisted that I was now able to look after myself he disappeared before I could ask him for his details.

Once in A&E I was cared for by extremely efficient and competent nurses.

They soon dressed my wounds and after insisting that I waited until someone could collect me I was able to return home and am making a speedy recovery.

My bicycle was cared for by the residents of the house in Wickhamford and I retrieved it the following morning.

I would be obliged if I am able to thank these people for their acts of extreme care and kindness to me. It is comforting to know that there are good Samaritans around when you need them.
