REGARDING the speed camera van on Defford Road (Journal, April 2.)
To the driver who chooses not to be named: it doesn't matter that the van is hidden; he was going 9mph over the limit, so perhaps he should spend his time sticking to the limit rather than moaning about being caught.
I know many families, including my own, who walk and cycle down that road, and so many drivers do speed round there.
In fact, I have been overtaken when driving my car on the road as well!
No, I am not some tree-hugging cyclist; I drive a lot as well and although I do not condone speeding there are some roads where going over the limit is more acceptable. Defford Road is not one.
