A WORD of advice to Lance Perkins (Letters, March 12), the correct and safe way to drive is to accelerate after you have been released from a speed limit, not before.
Also, please don't fret, Mr Perkins, it's the Safer Roads Partnership who operate speed monitoring, leaving the police to fight crime.
