HAVING read the latest Autumn 2014 edition of Wychavon, l feel the need to comment.
It is quite right and proper for any organisation, especially one which is paid for by the taxpayers, to pat itself on the back when it is doing well?
However, l would ask Wychavon to explain why is was that they buried the bad news?
I refer to pages 14 and 15 of this magazine and the “Satisfaction Survey”.
The article does confirm a general improvement in the level of satisfaction, and for that they must be congratulated, but in the panel headed “Satisfaction with our services” l see that there is a high level of dissatisfaction with planning and building control users.
The main article does not highlight this particular aspect, and l just wondered why that was as it would seem to me to be something that there was an urgent need to investigate.
If an organisation is prepared to seek praise, then they must be just as prepared to actively pursue criticism where there may be a case of inept performance.
