THIS is a letter that I sent to Morrisons HQ: I wish to make a complaint about your Morrison's shopping trolleys that are strewn around our streets, brooks, fields and roads.
Day in, day out, they are being abandoned, damaging our wildlife and countryside.
Why have you taken the coin/token system away?
It worked, so why change it?
The Evesham store is a great asset to the community. You have lovely staff and an extremely efficient team. But it is in an urban area surrounded mainly by residents who are all fuming.
Even your employees are fed up with constant barrage of calls and complaints.
Morrison's reply said: Your comments have been duly noted. Locks will be removed from locations only where the risk of them being removed from the site is extremely minimal. I do hope that this has allayed your concerns somewhat.
In other words, they are not going to do anything about it.
I have several photographs. Some trolleys have been abandoned in the brook for weeks!
What can be done to stop this?
Any advice would be gratefully received.
