THE story (Journal, August 28) about drinking in Workman Gardens made interesting reading.
So the police say it is not a problem, only a perceived problem.
David Hemming, our community safety manager says he is aware.
We should all be comforted by this attitude as it is all under control and being looked into.
People visiting out lovely town deserve better than this, and so do all residents.
It is a very simple message: ban drinking in Workman Gardens except on special occasions.
