I AGREE with John Andrews regarding the speed limit through Pershore (Journal, August 28).
I also live on Bridge Street and watch traffic passing well in excess of 20mph.
I also agree that the main problem area is from the pedestrian crossing and on towards the bridge.
I have no idea what survey was carried out regarding the average speed of 22mph.
If it was a visual camera in a vehicle or similar then, of course, drivers will slow down as soon as they catch sight of it.
