WE would like through your columns to thank the many hundreds of visitors, stallholders and members who supported the annual fete at Dumbleton Cricket Club on Bank Holiday Monday in such atrocious weather.
In true British spirit many people commented that as they had been attending the event for many years they were not prepared to let the weather alter their plans.
Many, many thanks from the members of Dumbleton Cricket Club for your loyalty.
