(Journal 31st July) proves that!
45 bags of litter from just a few Streets around Evesham town centre – and that’s assuming the Council Street Cleaners are still operating normally!
On a short trip up the Evesham by-pass last week, they were cutting the grass on the central reservation – the amount of paper, cans and general rubbish was appalling – somebody is throwing it from car windows, it hasn’t all blown there!
When I was a lad (a long time ago) it was more than my life was worth to drop a toffee paper – today, nobody cares...and adults are as bad as the children!
