Sir - Pershore Carnival Committee have pulled off a hat-trick this year with yet another fantastic day for the town and I would like to thank each and every one of them for all their hard work.
The parade each year is getting back to the heights of the Carnival's heyday and that is all thanks to the efforts of our community who put so much time and effort in to their entries.
Not to mention the thousands of people who turn out every year and dig deep in their pockets to help raise money for worthy causes.
I can't remember the last time I saw so many stalls on the park and the entertainment provided by Evesham Hospital Radio and in the arena made for an enjoyable day for all the family. The firework display was truly spectacular and I think it's safe to say that a good day was had by all.
To continue this Town tradition year in year out for 47 years takes some considerable effort and I for one truly appreciate everything people do.
