REGARDING Alan Eames letter (April 10), I've been banging on about all of Alan's points for years through these pages.
As promised in my last letter of February 27, I contacted the Worcestershire Hub on March 5 to put forward some ideas to highways about opening Mill Street to two-way traffic, but alas no one has got back to me.
The Hub says the department you want to contact should be in touch within 28 days. Well, it's been well over a month.
Evesham is an island with four roads in and three roads out, which will cause congestion on the Abbey Road escape route to the south.
You can only bang your head on a brick wall for so long until you become unconscious.
I will be trying contact highways again and see if I get any response this time.
