THE way the Press reported on daily events during the 1700s and 1800s was explained to the Vale of Evesham Historical Society in a talk given by Vanessa Morgan. Vanessa, a writer for the historical press, gave many examples of the extensive vocabulary that was used in those days to describe events in every detail.
