A 7.5-mile walk over level farmland and common with some difficult stiles from Wadborough, to Kempsey Common, Pirton, Croome and back to Wadborough.
Park on verge near the wooden bench on Sidings Road. Bring a packed lunch or get refreshment at Croome where toilets are also available. For more information, call the leader on 01386 561426.
• Evesham Rambling Club: The next walk is on Sunday – a 14-mile walk starting from Hook Norton at 9am. Enjoy a spring day with fine views in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds!
We start with a climb to Great Rollright, then down to Ascott and over a shoulder of the hill to Hooky. The afternoon will take us to Swerford and Wigginton on a gently undulating route. For details, call 01905 840008.
