Evesham Volunteer Centre is holding a tin collection at Morrisons in Evesham tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday to raise funds to help us to provide our wide range of services to the local community. If you have hour or two on either or both of those days, could you volunteer to collect for us?

Do you have time to spare on a regular basis and live in the Evesham area? Did you know that the Promoting Older People’s Independence (POPI) Project based at Evesham Volunteer Centre provides help and support to older socially isolated people living near you? Evesham Library is looking for child friendly volunteers to support staff in providing children’s activities as different as an after school club for 8 to 13 years old to activities for parents and infants aged 0-36 months. Contact Sally Earley for more information.
The Gordon Russell Design Museum in Broadway needs volunteer receptionists. Full training is given and no previous experience is necessary. To find out more, contact Sally Earley.
Have you any unwanted gifts, especially bric-a-brac and jewellery, suitable to be used as tombola/raffle prizes for the various fund-raising events held by Evesham Volunteer Centre? Please bring any suitable items into their office at The Lodge, rear of Dresden House, Brick Kiln Street, Evesham, or ring them on 01386 40165 as they may be able to collect.
Volunteers aged over 18, who are up to date with tetanus vaccinations, are needed at Evesham Dogs Trust. Aside from dog walking they are also needed to help with kennel cleaning in the mornings. You would need to attend an induction meeting prior to dog walking which would include site instructions, health and safety and dog handling training. Contact Sally Earley to find out more.
