EVESHAM Gardening Club thanked Gary Farmer and his assistants when they spoke at our February meeting. They informed us of the valuable work that was done by the Vale Landscape Heritage Trust to preserve the treasures that the Vale of Evesham has to offer to residents and visitors. Mr Farmer spoke of the unseen work that goes into the maintaining and reclaiming of sites that we all delight in seeing especially when in blossom. We offered our thanks to all the volunteers who give their time for our pleasure.
It is time for club members to show their skills and special plants at our Annual Show on March 28 at 7.30pm in our usual venue in Wallace House, Oat Street. Will there be any spring flowers fit to exhibit due to the changeable weather? There will also be a quiz to challenge the minds of our green fingered members. Good luck.
