THE well attended meeting welcomed new members and visitors. The secretary, Barbara Jenman, opened the meeting by introducing the new committee members and appealing for nominations for a Chairperson. She encouraged members not only to talk to the committee but also to contribute their ideas and photos to the monthly news letter.

The forthcoming local quiz at Blockley is on Wednesday, March 22 at 7.30pm, a team has been chosen to represent Bretforton. Members are encouraged to go along as the quiz format has been changed to include audience participation and should be fun.

Alison informed us that the outing to Barnsdale has been changed to the 8th of July.

Our speaker for the night was Julia Scott, she was warmly welcomed back to speak on Biodynamic Gardening and Herbs. As on her previous visit we were enthralled by her passionate and informative talk. Her own new enthusiasm for Moon Planting, an aspect of Biodynamic Gardening left us all amazed and very much looking forward to seeing it in action when the club visit her in August.
