THE Guild met on February 7 for its AGM and to celebrate its 13th Birthday. The meeting took the usual format of AGM’s with reports from Officers. Our Chairman Mrs Kathleen Tunbridge stood down from the Committee as did Mrs. Alex Brown who has been Speaker Organiser for the past two years but actually completing three years programmes. We have welcomed three new members to our Committee.
Most of our members enjoyed a lunch at The Queen Elizabeth Inn at Elmley Castle instead of a regular meeting. This is something we have enjoyed for the past few years, it makes the Christmas Season last a little longer.
Our next speaker is Gemma Timmis who will talk to us about Acorns Children’s Hospice, this meeting will take place at The Civic Centre on March 7 at 2pm in The Chamber [ note different room ]
We welcome new members to join us, details from Marian Coulton 01386 550177.
