WHO needs Gareth Malone? Certainly not Eckington WI! Led by our own local talented singers, Sally Pitchforth and Kate Redfern, the ladies of Eckington WI started their year singing. Very enthusiastically, mostly in harmony, the singing was approached with gusto and with a little dancing and movement. Somewhat exhausted yet exhilarated, our cup of tea was much appreciated before we then settled down to finish the evening with business.
We were reminded of our upcoming events, which amongst others include our coffee morning at the local Inn, followed by our Lunch Club the week after.
Our next meeting will be Wednesday February 1 at Eckington Village Hall where Deborah Overton will be talking to us on the history and archaeology of Bredon Hill.
