YVONNE Everest, who runs Chocolate Genie, was our guest speaker in September. Chocolate tasters were passed around (and hoarded by some people!) as Yvonne told us how she began making a range of chocolate novelties, from sheep to shoes, pencils to pigs, some too pretty to eat, well, almost! Eighteen members enjoyed the talk followed by refreshments and a natter.
Defford Hummingbirds usually meet at 7.30pm on the second Wednesday in the month at Defford Village Hall. Come along and see what we get up to. Bring a friend, or come on your own and make some new ones. Next month we will be decamping to Tewkesbury to paint pottery pieces, so if you want to join us, please meet in the village Hall Car Park at 6pm.
