EVESHAM Gardening Club held their Annual Spring Show just as all the spring flowers were blooming this year. The entries of mixed varieties of daffodils/Narcissi, delightful vases of flowering shrubs along with potted plants in flower presented the show judge with a challenge. The result of the completion was 1st Mrs S. Townley, 2nd Mrs J. Carr, and 3rd Mrs J. Blomfield. Our thanks were extended to all entrants and especially to the Judge. Members took part in a quiz which provided entertainment and brain searching with Mrs. J. Sutton being the winner. We hold our next meeting on Tuesday April 26 at 7.30pm in Wallace House, Oat Street, Evesham and the speaker is Mr. H.W. Hawkes who will introduce members to “American flora and fauna”. Please come and join members as all will be welcome. Entry is £2 or £3 for visitors with refreshments provided.
