WE have our major pre-Christmas concert on Saturday, November 28, Evesham Methodist Church at 7.30 pm. The price is £5, to include light refreshments) plus a raffle. Tickets can be obtained from any Choir member, by calling 07486 414934 or email: ecctickets@gmail.com.
The evening will be in two halves, one half Christmas themed, and will include poetry, readings and other musical items from guests. The Choir has a number of other forthcoming engagements and will once again be part of Evesham Christmas Lighting-Up, Market Place, Saturday, November 21, at 12.30pm. The Choir formed five years ago and is now under the Musical Directorship of Leon James. Its rehearsal home has always been at The De Montfort School. It has been proud of that association and to have been a part of the Evesham Music Festival and previous Christmas concerts with Avonbank Brass at Evesham Arts Centre. We meet on Thursday evenings, 7.00pm, term time. New members welcome, cost £3 (first session free). We are a four-part harmony group with the emphasise on fun and enjoyment. Please don't be put off if you can't read music as many of us can't either. We sing a variety of different types of songs.
