IT was fabulous to see so many members of our community attend the first meeting of the Town Plan Committee, I look forward to all them and more attending future meetings of the TPC, we do need their experience and expertise to enable the implementation of Evesham's Town Plan.

The mayoress and I were invited to St Mary's School - what unbelievable talent we have in our community, there production of "The Wizard of Oz"

was outstanding.

Attended Prince Henry's speech/awards day these pupils are our future Doctors, Nurses, Scientist, Actors, and dare I say it Politicians, an enjoyable day spent listening to pupils achievements, all credit to Prince Henry's staff for their dedication.

The Mayoress, Deputy Mayor (Cllr Alan Booth) and I attended the Working World's "Summer Show" held this year at the Evesham Football Ground what a fantastic venue this is for events. We were entertained with a mixture of song and dance, comedy, poetry and music the atmosphere was electric.

The Mayoress, Deputy Mayor and I were pleased to hand out certificates to the winners and runner ups of the floats of the recent Carnival. The bucket collection on the day of the event raised £2,500 which included a top up by the Evesham Round Table for local good causes. Roll on next years carnival.

On Sunday the Deputy Mayor was at the River Festival presenting prizes, while at the same time I was presenting awards at the Evesham Vale 10K races, both events were well attended and the rain held off until after the events.
