Pershore and District Friendship Centre
The April meeting held at Peopleton Village Hall was well attended, there was one visitor. The speaker was Mr Tony Caldwell who gave a talk on the Coast to Coast Walk from Robin Hoods Bay in Yorkshire to St Bees Head in Cumbria. The scenery was stunning and made you realise what a beautiful country we have. The talk was in aid of childhood Leukaemia Trust. He was thanked by the Chairman who then told us a usual tickler to soften the blow when he said subscriptions were due in June, they are still only £6.00 pa which is terrific value. There is to be a holiday in 2016 to Tenby and final details of the Severn Valley Railway trip were given. The pub lunch which is always the 1st Wednesday in the month will be at Bishampton.. Next meeting will be 27th May the talk is Canine Capers. New members and visitors welcome, for information 01905 458458
