THE April meeting of Bidford on Avon WI was held at The Bidford Methodist church and was chaired by Julie Ramage.
Details of all future events and trips had been given in writing or by email to all the members.
The speaker was Pam Sutton. Her talk was about the charity Troop Aid. When injured troops return to the UK from war zones they arrive back without their personal effects or clothing. The objective of Troop Aid is to support them by providing basic essentials in a bag. A really interesting speaker.
Our May meeting will be held on May 14 April 7.30pm at the Bidford Methodist Church when the resolution about carers will be discussed.
