THE March meeting was a social with tea, coffee and Hot Cross Buns provided by the committee ladies. There was a short talk by Care and Repair a non profit making organisation that provides help with alterations and improvements to enable people to stay in their own homes longer. It was well received and there was a lot of interest. The Chairman then gave us one of his ticklers. Final details for the Seven Valley Railway were given and the trip to Holme Lacy was proving popular, we were asked to save knitting wool to be used to knit for premature babies. Bob Halling was presented with a gift for his 90th Birthday. The next meeting will be April 22 at Peopleton Village Hall with a talk on Wainwright Walks followed by lunch at the Berkley.
