We met on March 3 at the Civic Centre, the speaker was Maggie Collins and her subject was "Health Watch." Many of you may not have heard about this organisation. It is an independent one, which wants to make sure that everyone in Worcestershire is able to have their say about how health and social care services are run and developed. Healthwatch can also "signpost" people to the right information and advice. It does not take up individual complaints, but it does refer you to Onside Advocacy. At the present time , Health Watch is dealing with issues for people with sight and hearing loss when using health and social care services. People can contact Health Watch by phone, e-mail or letter. Our next meeting is on April 7 at 2pm when the speaker will be Nicholas Clark, talking about Overland To Okavango. We welcome any new visitors.
