MEMBERS were invited to share their own pest and disease control ideas with our speaker Mr Roger Umplelby. The view in the end was an equal divide of chemical and organic methods. Protection or barrier covering along with respect for wild life was also methods recommended. This was a very interesting evening. The next meeting is The Spring Show and quiz which will be a fun challenge for green fingers and brain power. This is held at Wallace House, Oat Street, 7.30pm on Tuesday, March 24. New members and guests always welcome.
