Report of Meeting held on Thursday February 19 at Crawford Hall.
At the last minute the scheduled speaker cancelled due to ill health. Andy Pedrick filled the gap most ably. Two light hearted quizzes, one a number cruncher and the other Horticultural were enjoyed and followed by topical gardening tips and question time.
The competition, three floating hellebore heads was won by Barbara Sutton, second Karen Furness, third John Alexander Head and fourth Janice Ferguson.
Next month on March 19, Duncan Coombs will speak about 'Lilies for your Garden'.
