THE February meeting of Bidford on Avon WI was held at The Bidford Methodist church.
President, Shirley McAloon welcomed everyone . Members received a news letter detailing future events and classes. Shirley mentioned a May trip to London entitled Barrow Boys and Bankers which we were arranging and encouraged members to join her on this exciting trip.
The speaker for the evening was Laurence Thatcher. His talk Roman Alcester detailed information about Roman life and that there are still many mysteries about the time they lived in the area..
Refreshments followed and the evening ended with the raffle being drawn.
Our March meeting will be held on March 12, 7.30pm at the Bidford Methodist Church. The evening will be a fun evening with a bring and share supper and a fun auction
