The Chairman Fred Gardner opened the meeting and introduced the speaker Bryan Neville-Lee who kindly replaced the original speaker at the last minute.

His talk was entitled Route 66 which went across the USA. It started in Chicago and finished in San Francisco it was very interesting with some magnificent photographs. He said it was a holiday of a lifetime.

The chairman then started the meeting with one of his usual Ticklers which amused everyone. He then welcomed two new members and two visitors. He reminded us of the need to put names down for the Christmas dinner at the Northwick Hotel Evesham on December 3 and that the Christmas meeting will be sherry, mince pies and entertainment.

As the Centre funds were so healthy it was agreed to have a free two course lunch at The Berkley in April for all members.

The meeting closed with a raffle there were ten prizes.

The next meeting will be at Peopleton Village Hall on November 19 the talk will be Compliments of the Season. New members and visitors will be very welcome.
