imaGine in Market Square Evesham continues to grow! The ‘Healthy Planet Books for Free’ shop has a dedicated Volunteer team who between them keep the shelves stacked with books ranging from fiction to cookery and everything in between! Every week donations of unwanted books are received and recycled. Please pop in and make your selection we’ll be pleased to see you.

Our regular Thinkers’ Corner held the second Wednesday of the month 2.30pm – 4pm has seen lively discussion and debate on such subjects as the ‘Scottish Referendum’ and ‘Does it really matter what you think?’ The group is open to all please come along to the next meeting November 12.

September 17 saw the first meeting of ‘Imagination’ our new writers’ group. It was exciting to be around the table and witness the creativity of those present.

We met again on October 15 when the task was to create a random storyboard and to create a story from its contents, a very interesting and fulfilling task. A story writing competition is planned details will be announced at the end of October in ‘The Vale’ magazine. We next meet November 12, 12.30pm – 2.30pm.

A new Craft Group starts on Wednesday . October 29, 10.30am – 12.30pm with weekly sessions continuing until December. You will be able to create your own handmade cards with help and instruction from local Veronica Saunders. The sessions cost £2.50 each inclusive of all materials and refreshments.
