MAY was a busy month at imaGine. We were honoured to be asked to host the Mayor Making After Party on May 12 for the new Mayor of Evesham Charlie Homer. The evening proved a great success with the guests enjoying a delicious buffet provided by local Charity Working World whilst being entertained by musician Grif Collins.

imaGine offers free wall space for local Artists to hold exhibitions. Local Artist, Illustrator and Muralist O’Neal Spence currently has an exhibition running from May 22–June 19. If you are interested in displaying your work please feel free to contact us we’re keen to help develop and promote local creativity.

Transition Evesham Vale Food Group are planting two sites with edibles around Evesham and currently have a Seed Swap in imaGine. If you have unwanted seeds please drop them in to us. This is a wonderful opportunity to get involved with your local community whilst enjoying the great outdoors. Help is needed with this project. Saturday, June 21 10am-3pm Come along and join Evesham Knitters in celebrating ‘World Wide Knit In Public Day’ bring your knitting or crochet for an informal social get together. Beginners to expert welcome. Help and advice will be available for those who need it.

Our weekly Art Groups meet every Thursday. The groups are friendly and welcoming and expert tuition is available.

Sunday, June 29 2pm-5pm Busk Stop Openmic our monthly get together where local performers are encouraged to join in and bring entertainment to imaGine – if you play an instrument, sing, read poetry or maybe tell a story or a joke come along and take part - your audience is waiting!

Don’t Throw It Away! Come along on Saturday , July 12 10am-2pm to Evesham’s very first Repair Cafe where tools, materials and Volunteer experts will be on hand to help and advise with the repair of clothes, furniture, electronics, electrical, bicycles and appliances. Enjoy refreshments whilst waiting your turn.

As a Healthy Planet Books for Free shop we have a huge selection of previously owned books in the categories Romance – Crime – Travel – Food – Children’s – Humour – Classics – DIY – History - - Educational – Health – Religion – Politics – Gardening – Lifestyle – Environmental – Business – Art – Language – Pets & Animals we really do cater for all tastes – and YES they are free!

We are able to offer facilities for local groups to hold meetings and events.

But......most of all to continue to offer our wide range of activities and facilities we need YOUR help. If you can spare a few hours weekly on a Voluntary basis we would love to hear from YOU!
