Cotswold District Council has to produce the next edition of their Local Plan and is asking villages to assess specific sites for suitability for development. The Parish Council has been asked to assess one site, MK4, which is the Granbrook Garage site. A preliminary site assessment has been carried out which resulted in the opinion that the garage brownfield site would be acceptable but should categorically not extend into the field behind which is in the area of AONB. A presentation detailing the site assessment results will be given by Councillor Morecroft at the Annual Parish Assembly on March 26 and Parishioners are urged to attend to voice their opinions.

Consideration will also be given to setting up a steering committee to produce a Local Neighbourhood Development Plan.

Flooding in Back Lane continues and the problem could be caused from a drain which goes in to the Junior Playing Field and which is the responsibility to the riparian owner. Gloucestershire County Council has carried out some work on this which has not solved the problem.
