AT our last meeting, our talk by Carol Lomas about the Shakespeare Hospice showed us just how much work is being done - much of it on a voluntary basis - at the hospice. Not only is there full time nursing care for terminally ill men, women and children, but there is a day hospice twice a week, care for sufferers at home and many counselling and family support services. The talk was most informative and made us realise just how valuable hospices are.

In April, there are two meetings for the Club. The first will be on Wednesday, April 2, when Ralph Richardson will be speaking on The Campden Wonder and the second meeting will be our AGM with wine and cheese on Wednesday, April 30. Do join us at both meetings if you can - tea and coffee from 10.30am - the talk starts at 11am.

THERE WILL BE NO MEETING IN MAY.
