Sian Case has written a book to help people looking for a new job.
A COTSWOLD mum-of-two has written a new book to give jobseekers a leg up in the employment world.
Sian Case, who lives near Shipston, has written the how-to manual Nail That Job to help people with interview techniques, CV writing and support for people who have been made redundant.
The former recruitment consultant- turned-coach has a wealth of experience and has teamed up with Moreton publisher Inkwell Media to produce her third book.
She decided to write the book after training a group of office workers who were about to be made redundant.
“They had very different worries about job seeking, depending on their age,” she said.
“Younger workers were very confident about using the internet to look for their second job.
“The older staff had last been looking for work at least 10 years earlier. They felt very insecure about how to search for jobs on the web, but far more confident about preparing for an interview.”
Ms Case teaches tricks of the trade, such as preparing the right questions for people to ask at interview.
“It’s about giving the recruiter the right information in the right way,” she added.
The book costs £12.99 and is available to buy from Amazon and the author’s website nailthatjob.co.uk.
