COMEDIAN Tony Hawks will be at Evesham’s Regal Cinema on Sunday to talk to audience members after they have watched his new film.

Playing The Moldovans At Tennis, starring the Vale’s very own Alistair McGowan, begins at 2pm.

The film tells the true story of an unlikely bet that turns into a life-changing adventure. Proceeds from the film are being donated to a care centre for children with cerebral palsy in Chisinau, Moldova.

Tickets are still on sale for the cinema’s 80th birthday celebrations in October. The weekend will include Alistair McGowan’s new stand-up show on October 13 and 14.
