CDC to collect extra waste following Jubilee festivities
11:57am Wednesday 13th June 2012 in Cotswolds By Freya Leng
COTSWOLD District Council has confirmed that its waste contractor, SITA UK, is collecting additional waste and recycling from the recent Jubilee celebrations.
The council is aware that some additional waste left out was not picked up in the district last week and has assured householders that this will be collected when SITA UK carry out their collection next week.
In the meantime, they have advised residents to store the side waste securely until their next collection is due.
This week some additional waste collections may have been missed on Monday and early on Tuesday but SITA UK are revisiting those properties affected and have advised residents to leave the loads out in the expectation that they will be picked up soon.
The Council has apologised for any inconvenience which may have been caused.
