A COTSWOLD pub is celebrating asparagus season with a feast night.

Owners of The Ebrington Arms near Chipping Campden are celebrating the region's famous local vegetable.

The feast will take place at the Ebrington Arms on Tuesday, June 5

The couple have run many food evenings over the years, having been at the helm of The Ebrington Arms for the past eleven years

Claire Alexander, co-owner, commented; “Some of our customers wanted to go to the nights at both of the pubs so we have staggered the dates this year.

"Asparagus is on our menus from the start of the season until the very end as it’s so popular and we have people driving from all of the country to come and feast on it."

Both menus will feature asparagus in every course including the puddings. The events are really fun nights with a choice of people sitting all together on banqueting tables or booking in their own party, however they prefer.

Also coming up at the pub is Yubbyfest, which will take place on Saturday June 9 including a festival of live music, DJs, barbecues, Cotswold Distillery Gin Bar and wine and cheese tasting event at The Ebrington Arms.
