AN elderly man was airlifted to hospital with a chest injury after a crash in Campden Vale.

Police were called at 4.37pm on Monday after a white Ford Fiesta Zetec driven by a 92 year old man from Inkberrow and a red Hyundai Accent collided on the B4632 near Weston Sub Edge.

The 92-year-old man was airlifted to Worcester Royal Hospital with a suspected chest injury.

His 90 year old female passenger was taken by ambulance to the same hospital with abrasions.

The 53 year old female driver of the Hyundai was taken to the Alexandra Hospital Redditch to be checked over.
