A GALA fundraiser in the Cotswolds is set to raise money for a cancer charity.

Rennsport, based at Cotswold Business Village, London Road, Moreton-in-Marsh, will be hosting the event between 6pm and 9pm on Friday, November 25.

Special guest Tamara Beckwith, star of Channel 4's The Jump, Dancing on Ice and Loose Women will be opening the red carpet event.

The Celebrity Come Dine with Me star is a founder member of Gynaecological Cancer Fund, which is benefiting from the fundraiser.

The charity was established to fund research and to raise awareness of the symptoms of the five gynaecological cancers.

Guests are invited to attend the evening, being held at the Porsche show room, and enjoy champagne and delicious canapes while browsing through an exciting range of stalls selling gifts and food.

There will also be the chance to buy nearly new designer clothes, and bid in a charity auction.

Among the prizes available are VIP tickets to a Leicester Tigers rugby match and tickets to a Diva Opera production.

Bridget Barker, a member of the Cotswold committee of the charity which has organised the event, said: "Rennsport has very kindly offered us the opportunity to use its fabulous showroom and we thought the combination of shopping, champagne and Porsche cars was a glittering way to start the festive season."

Advance tickets cost £20, while tickets on the night cost £25.
