COTSWOLD residents hoping to get fit over the summer are being encouraged to apply to participate in a programme preparing them for a challenging course this September.
The Devil Mud Run event is being held on September 17 and 18, and will see around 1,500 runners attempting to complete the tough obstacle course being held at Stanley Pontlarge in Winchcombe.
Sportivate and the organisers of the event have teamed up with Body4You in Winchcombe to offer some applicants the opportunity to take part.
The scheme will see participants receive eight weeks of fitness training, which is fully designed around preparing people to get around the course.
Applicants need to be new to any kind of fitness training, be between 18-25yrs old, and contribute £25 towards the programme which is worth in excess of £165.
To enter the applicant should send their name, date of birth, address and email address to info@devilmudrun.com.
They will given a short questionnaire to fill in.
Entries close at the end of June.
