TODDENHAM villagers are being given the chance to air their views at a Brexit debate in the village hall.

The Question Time-style event has been organised by researcher and business developer Peter Lombardelli who lives in Toddenham.

It will be held on ThursdayJune 9 at 7.30pm.

"It's more about getting the village together as a community and making sure people are informed about the forthcoming referendum," he said.

Two invited speakers will be in attendance: Mark Hubbard, secretary of the Cotswold Labour Party who is supporting the 'in' campaign, and Chris Harlow, UKIP Cotswold branch chairman who is in the 'out' camp.

Themes covered will include health and welfare, structure and policies, immigration, agriculture, growth and jobs, education and finance.

People can forward their questions at 7.30pm and the debate will begin at 8pm for around an hour and a quarter. People are them going on the the Farriers Arms afterwards for a more relaxed chat.

An exit poll will be taken from the village hall.
