BROADWAY thespians will be treading the boards once again as they take to the stage with Scrooge the Musical.

Charles Dickens’ classic Victorian tale A Christmas Carol comes alive in this musical version written by Leslie Bricusse and performed by the Broadway Players.

Miserly Ebenezer Scrooge will be travelling through time with the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future and ultimately discover the joy of Christmas.

With a large cast of over 30, the show promises lavish costumes and staging as well as a programme full of unforgettable musical numbers such as ‘I like Life’, ‘Thank you very Much’ and ‘Happiness’ to put everyone in the spirit of Christmas.

Scrooge the Musical is being staged at the Lifford Hall, Broadway, from Thursday November 26 to Saturday November 28, with a matinee on Sunday November 29. The show is suitable for all ages.

Tickets cost £9 and £6 for under 16s. They are available from Shopwright Newsagents, in High Street. Bar and refreshments available.
