BLOCKLEY and District Horticultural Society is holding its summer flower show in St George's Hall on Saturday August 29, opening to the public at 2.30pm.
In addition to the usual abundance of floral exhibits there will be vegetables, crafts, cookery and photography as well as children's competitions.
Teas will be served and there will be a plant stall and entertainment by a brass band.
Admission is £1 with children under 16 free.
On the same day Blockley Heritage Society is staging an exhibition on Northwick Park depicting the history of the estate, the people who lived there and their influence on Blockley and beyond. The exhibition is free entry and is open from 10am to 5pm.
