SOME of the most delicious tomatoes Britain has to offer will be on show at a pair of Cotswold supermarkets.
As part of this week’s British Tomato Week, growers and experts will be on hand at Warner’s Budgens in Moreton and Broadway between 10am and 2pm on Friday, May 22, offering shoppers advice and free tasting sessions.
The store’s owner Guy Warner said he was pleased to celebrate the national event, now in its 11th year.
“We’re proud to stock British tomatoes and have a fantastic range ready for people to try this week, from super-sweet cherries and baby plums to old fashioned varieties,” he said.
“We‘re passionate about British produce and are keen to share this with our customers during Tomato Week.”
Selected varieties will also be on special offers at both stores.
