THE sports ground in Blockley's station road is again the venue for the annual fair which takes place on Sunday May 3.

Last year's fair was declared a huge success and this year's attractions organised by the Blockley Village Shop and the Sports and Social Club hope to continue the trend.

This year promises a host of more than 16 stalls and games with a prize draw, Morris dancing, music by Pete Watkins, vintage tractors and cars display, bar and skittles, a dog show with 10 classes and a bouncy castle, rodeo bull and swing boats.

There will also be food from Francis Green, The Cotswold Traiteur, and Ben Williams, of Good Grub, while stalls will be selling teas and cakes.

For those wanting to leave the car at home there will be a shuttle service in the Hedgehog bus from the village centre to the fair all afternoon.

The fair runs from 1pm to 5pm. Proceeds raised will go towards community activities in the new hub.
