VISITORS and residents in the Cotswolds can now download a free iphone and Android app detailing what's going on in the district.
The download is being launched by Cotswolds Tourism to coincide with English Tourism Week between March 14 and 22.
The app will give users an interactive guide to the Cotswolds at the touch of a button. It is hoped it will give visitors a comprehensive directory and an easy way to discover the best sights, attractions, events, accommodation, food, drink and shopping in the Cotswolds area.
English Tourism Week 2015 is a week-long celebration of events showcasing the quality and the value the industry brings to the nation.
The app is designed to feature rich content, high quality images, opening times, prices and grading. Users can also obtain directions from their current location using their phone’s GPS and Google Maps, or save places of interest as a favourite and build their own itinerary.
