HAGGIS and poems were top treats for Year 2 youngsters at Swell Primary School as they researched the famous Scottish poet, Robert Burns..
The school likes to teach the children different traditions and was able to celebrate Burns' Night on January 25 by treating the children to a traditional Scottish dish.
The children cooked a haggis and served it with mashed swede to all their friends who all said they loved it.
Afterwards the children all joined hands and sang Robert Burns' famous song: Auld Lang Syn.
